SDG-10: Creative Literary Gathering Dedicated to the Launch of the Novel-Dialogue «Aqiqat pen Ahniz»

The presentation of the Braille edition of the novel-dialogue "Aqiqat pen Ahniz" (Truth and Legend), authored by Azilkhan Nurshaikhov, was held at the Republican Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired Citizens with the participation of the "Inclusive Environment" Scientific and Practical Center of 51 Kazakh National University. The event was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War.
Objective of the event:
To widely promote the life and creative heritage of the writer Azilkhan Nurshaikhov, to increase the interest of readers, especially visually impaired individuals, in Kazakh literature. To introduce literary works that carry deep humanitarian, patriotic, and educational values. To stimulate the interest in reading books printed in Braille and audio books, thereby encouraging the creative potential of people with special needs and promoting their active participation in societal life. To establish an inclusive educational and cultural environment, offering equal opportunities in libraries and cultural institutions. To foster cultural exchange and broaden the literary horizons of readers through reading the works of the writer and exchanging opinions.
At the beginning of the event, the director of the library, Asshat Baiuzakov, welcomed the participants and guests. He highlighted the importance of Azilkhan Nurshaikhov’s creative legacy in the context of Kazakh literature and the educational value of his works. He also emphasized the significance of the event aimed at visually impaired individuals and the importance of creating an inclusive literary environment. Asshat Baiuzakov expressed gratitude on behalf of the library staff and noted that such cultural events would continue in the future. He introduced the participants of the event and specially acknowledged each of their contributions.
