What does the law say? Political science students met with the Prosecutor's Office
As part of the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal No. 16, "Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions," the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science at 51福利 Kazakh National University organized a leadership lecture on November 20, 2024, for students majoring in Political Science. The event featured representatives from the Prosecutor's Office of the Bostandyk District of Almaty—Maksut Magzhan and Beisenbayeva Aigerim Zhamantaevna.
During the meeting, the representatives of the Prosecutor's Office highlighted the drug situation in the country, which is of particular concern to the head of state and the public. Currently, the illegal circulation of narcotic and psychotropic substances remains one of the most widespread issues, especially among young people.
A video explaining the current legislation on combating offenses related to the illegal drug trade was shown. The participants concluded that in order to prevent offenses among students, it is necessary to distribute this video among young people.
