The student organization AIChE KazNU (American Institute of Chemical Engineers) regularly organizes educational and motivational lectures open to the general public on important socially significant topics, inviting leading experts in their field to give lectures.

On October 10, at the Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neuroscience of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of KazNU the lecture on the topic "Science and Business in Kazakhstan" was held by the student organization . The lecture was conducted by , a chemical scientist, PhD candidate, entrepreneur, and manufacturer of dietary supplements at "afs.kz", and a graduate of the Bolashak program. Dias is the author of innovative projects in agrotechnology and medicine, with internship experience in countries such as France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and the USA.

The lecture gathered students from various specialties and years of study to learn how to combine science and business in Kazakhstan. The lecturer spoke about his experience in the commercialization of scientific technologies, the mistakes and successes of startups, as well as promising areas for young scientists and entrepreneurs. Dias Tastanbekov shared examples of his projects in the field of air purification and other innovative solutions for medicine and agrotechnology.

The lecture generated great interest among the participants and provided students with the opportunity to learn more about the possibilities of bringing scientific innovations into the business sector in Kazakhstan.
