      On April 18, 2023, an event dedicated to the 14th International "Day of the Chinese language" was held, organized by the Consulate General of the people's Republic of China in Almaty, organized by the International Kazakh-Chinese Language College. The event, which was held at the international Kazakh-Chinese Language College, began with a round table. Heads of educational institutions and various institutions teaching Chinese in Almaty and teachers of the Chinese language gathered at the table. The event was attended by Professor Nabizhan Mukametkhanovich from the Department of Chinese studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of 51���� Kazakh National University, Head of the Department Kerimbayev E. A., associate professor of the department, chairman of the Association of Chinese scientists Dauen D. B. After the welcoming speech of the deputy consul general of the people's Republic of China in Almaty, Ms. zhun Hua and the director of the International College of the Kazakh-Chinese language Talgat Mamyruly, the teachers expressed various thoughts and opinions on the conditions and problems of teaching, teaching the Chinese language in the country. They agreed to jointly solve some of the accumulated problems in the future and further develop and promote the teaching of the Chinese language in our country. The end of the meeting was followed by an exhibition and a master class on the traditional Chinese art of calligraphy and cutting paper patterns. Talented students of the international Kazakh-Chinese Language College staged a small concert program for the guests.
