The Japanese Studies Week has started at the Faculty of Oriental Studies
The purpose of the Japanese Studies Week is to give students the opportunity to practice and hone their theoretical knowledge and professional skills. During the week, students will participate in events on various topics, student forums and symposiums held jointly with students from the universities of Tokyo, Sofia and Waseda. Japanese students will demonstrate the Japanese "tea ceremony" and talk about how to prepare various Japanese dishes.
In order to get acquainted with the sights of Kazakhstan, Japanese students will be shown the Sharyn Gorge, and in order to glorify the national music of Kazakhstan, our students will present a small concert program for Japanese students, showing the national culture of Kazakhstan.
During this week, students will learn about the history of Japan, traditions, etc. You can get acquainted with the cultural aspects of Japan. They can get clear answers to their questions about Japan, education in Japan and international relations between Kazakhstan and Japan.
