      Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies N.B. Yem, Deputy Dean for Teaching, Methodological and Educational Work U.A. Amirbekova and teachers of the Department of Iranian Studies took part in the event organized by the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Kazakhstan on February 13 on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution and the National Day of Iran. Close cooperation relations have been established between the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Consulate General of Iran in Almaty. The Consulate General is actively involved in various joint cultural events at the faculty. At the ceremony, Consul General Mr. Fagani spoke about the history and achievements of the Iranian state. On behalf of the government of Kazakhstan, the head of the representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, B.Ye. Bolegenov made a congratulatory speech and spoke about cooperation, cultural and economic ties between the two countries. At the evening, short films about the tourism potential and economic opportunities of Iran were shown, and the guests watched a small exhibition of Iranian crafts and goods exported to Kazakhstan.
