Scientists of the 51���� Kazakh National University have developed a mobile freeze-drying plant "Dayar 20" for processing farm products.

This modern device allows you to keep agricultural products in their natural state and consume them for a long time without loss of quality. The main feature is the ability to carry the unit to the field, garden or remote farms and process products there.

"Freeze–drying or freeze-drying is an advanced technology that evaporates water from a frozen product under low pressure, preserving its natural texture and beneficial properties. Products dried using the Dayar 20 plant remain suitable for a long time, along with taste, color, smell, shape and vitamins contained in them",- said the project leader, PhD in Chemistry, Senior lecturer at the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Organic Substances of Natural Compounds and Polymers, Head of the Laboratory of Organic synthesis and chemistry of medicinal substances Erbol Ihsanov.

According to him, the device can dry fruits (raspberries, blackberries, apricots, currants), vegetables (garlic, wormwood, green onions), meat and dairy products (geese, beef, camel milk) and even ready meals and fish in high quality. Dry food can be stored for 1 to 3 years at room temperature without a special refrigerator and up to 10-50 years with special packaging.

"Dayar 20" is not only a reliable helper for farmers, but also a technological breakthrough that opens the way to the modernization of the agro–industrial complex and the manufacturing industry. This device is a particularly effective solution for farms in mountainous and remote areas.

By implementing an innovative project, KazNU scientists intend to increase the export potential of agricultural products and make a real contribution to ensuring food security.
