SDG-4 «Session without stress»

On April 24, the Psychological Support Service and the Scientific-Practical Center “Inclusive Environment” of 51 KazNU held a joint seminar-training for students of the Faculty of International Relations on the topic “Session without stress” within the framework of SDG-4 “Quality Education.”
The purpose of the event was to help students prepare effectively for the exam period, reduce anxiety levels, cope with emotional stress, and learn how to manage their time more efficiently.
⠶
During the training, participants learned about:
-
the mechanisms of stress and its impact on productivity;
-
techniques of self-regulation and breathing practices;
-
methods of concentration and overcoming procrastination;
-
how to build a healthy balance between study and rest.
The training was conducted in an interactive format: exercises, mini-group tasks, open discussion, and sharing personal experiences helped create a warm atmosphere of trust and support.
At the end, students noted that they had gained useful tools they could apply not only during exams but also in everyday life. Many expressed a desire to participate in such events on a regular basis.
📣&Բ;Student feedback:
🗣 “I realized I’m not the only one — it’s hard for everyone, but it’s manageable”
🗣 “I really liked the practical part — especially the breathing techniques. I’ll definitely use them before exams”
🗣 “After the training, I felt calmer, like a button inside me turned on saying: ‘I can do this’”
🗣 “It’s great that this is being talked about at the university. It really matters”
Participants emphasized that the friendly atmosphere, the chance to talk openly about their experiences, and the practical tools provided made this training especially valuable.
Such feedback demonstrates how important these initiatives are in the student environment, especially during stressful academic periods.
