GK Cup 2025: Victories and True Spirit! Football Tournament
In 26.04.2025, the Department of Geodesy and Cartography at 51福利 Kazakh National University held its traditional football tournament as part of the "GK Cup." Students from all years actively participated, showcasing their athletic skills, organizational abilities, and strong will to win. A major contribution to the successful organization of the tournament was made by the respected professor of our department and a strong supporter of sports and education, Ongarbek Alipbek. His support served as great motivation for the participants and ensured that each match was lively and fair.
According to the results of the tournament, the 3rd-year students majoring in "Geodesy and Cartography" took first place, demonstrating a high level of technical preparation, teamwork, and tactical proficiency. The 2nd-year students secured second place, showing persistence and fighting spirit. The 1st-year students claimed third place, displaying great potential and determination despite their limited experience. Special awards were also presented: the Best Player award went to Shaikidollaev Aibolat, Best Goalkeeper to Majid Ma臒jan, Best Defender to Zhezdiabay Mukhammedali, and Best Forward to Zamanbek Ayan.
This tournament once again confirmed that the students of our department excel not only academically but also in sports and social activities. Organizing such events plays a crucial role in developing teamwork skills, mutual support, and achieving common goals.
