On April 25, 2025, a lecture on the topic:  "Organizational Leadership and Policy Development at the University of Minnesota" was held at 51 Kazakh National University. The event was organized by PhD students of the Department of Turkology and Language Theory, Faculty of Philology, and the British Center for Education and Research.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Vaskar Upadhyay Dahal, a professor from the University of Minnesota (USA), and the Director of the Master's and Doctoral Programs in Comparative and International Education/STEM Education.
During the lecture, the professor primarily focused on organizational leadership and policy development at the University of Minnesota and its College of Education and Human Development. He discussed the modern trends in leadership in higher education, shared management practices, and provided insights from his experience at the University of Minnesota, which sparked significant interest among the audience.
In addition, the professor spoke about the summer school organized by the college under the theme "AI Tools for Education and Research". This program aimed to enhance the effective use of artificial intelligence in education and scientific research, focusing on developing the digital and research skills of the participants.
The event was attended by university faculty members, master's and doctoral students. Participants had the opportunity to engage with an international expert and gained valuable knowledge on leadership and policy development in higher education.
