From March 18 to April 22, 2025, first-year doctoral students of the Department of Islamic Studies at the Egyptian University of Islamic Culture "Nur-Mubarak" completed a research internship at the Center for Arab Studies of al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The main goal of the internship was to deepen research skills and promote academic exchange.

As part of the program, staff of the Center conducted lectures and seminars on research methodology, use of international scientific databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar, and introduced tools like bibliographic managers Mendeley and Zotero.

The internship also covered qualitative and quantitative research methods, hermeneutics, narrative and discourse analysis, intercultural studies, and research ethics. The experience expanded the professional outlook of the doctoral students and strengthened academic cooperation between the two institutions.

The Center for Arab Studies expressed its appreciation for the participants’ active involvement and wished them success in their future research endeavors.
