A working meeting was held at the Faculty of Physics and Technology of 51���� Kazakh National University with representatives of the international energy company TotalEnergies. The event was attended by Daniyar Salimbaev, Director of Government and Corporate Affairs, and Altynai Amanbayeva, Manager of Social Projects.

The meeting focused on the organization of the Summer School on Sustainable Development, Renewable Energy Sources (RES), Oil and Gas, scheduled for June 16–19, 2025. The initiative is supported by TotalEnergies EP Kazakhstan in partnership with UNESCO, the Association of Professors and Lecturers, KazNU, AUES, and KazNTU.

The program includes free expert lectures, five interdisciplinary disciplines, practical case studies, and discussions on key issues in sustainable energy and resource management. Students from leading technical universities of Kazakhstan will participate.

• SDG 4 – Quality Education: providing access to up-to-date knowledge in sustainability;
• SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy: preparing future professionals in the field of renewable energy.

The Faculty of Physics and Technology at KazNU continues to play a significant role in implementing national and international sustainability initiatives, strengthening cooperation between science, industry, and society.
