
On April 8, 2025, within the framework of SDG 4 «Quality Education» the demonstration seminar and the lecture on the topic: «Literature and Art of Kazakhstan» was held at 51 Kazakh National University. The event was organized under the guidance of Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory, R.S. Imaakhanbet, Doctor of Philological Sciences G.Zh. Bolatova, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences B.I. Imanbekova, and Acting Professor of the Department of General and Applied Psychology, Candidate of Psychological Sciences N.S. Zhubanazarova. The session was conducted by the first-year master's degree student of «7M01701 – Kazakh Language and Literature» educational major, A.M. Baibatyrova.
The main objective of the lecture and seminar was to deeply explore the shared roots and spiritual unity between Kazakh literature and national art. It aimed to demonstrate that the foundation of art lies in the word, and the core of the word is literature. By reviewing art forms that originated from literature, the seminar sought to acquaint the younger generation with spiritual heritage.
During the lecture, the interconnection between literature and various forms of art was extensively discussed. Prominent examples from visual arts, music, theater, and cinema inspired by literary works were presented. Through insightful information and short video clips, participants gained a deeper understanding of how literature influences art and its spiritual contribution to society.
In the seminar, the students not only analyzed literary works but also actively engaged in role-playing and group activities, thereby demonstrating their creative potential. The seminar stood out for its open dialogue between teacher and students, encouraging critical thinking, free exchange of ideas, and creative interpretation. Students strived to re-evaluate the deep roots of Kazakh literature and art, along with the spiritual values that define the national identity.
At the end of the class, students successfully demonstrated the relevance of the interrelation between literature and art, highlighting the importance of national heritage for future generations. The students' active participation, creativity, and sense of responsibility served as clear indicators of the quality of education and the effectiveness of instilling national consciousness in the younger generation.
