"Virtual Paleolithic" Project Recognized as a Top Innovation

A project from the Faculty of History was awarded a prize at the "Best Innovation Project" competition organized by the Center for Technology Commercialization and Creative Industries at 51 Kazakh National University as part of the Student Business Incubator program.
The team, led by Zhuldyz Maratkyzy Bekbauova, a lecturer at the Department of History of Kazakhstan, participated in the competition with their startup project titled "Virtual Paleolithic" and secured third place. First-year students Daniyar Talgatuly Aronov, Arman Bakhramuly Tolegen, and Bolat Seidullayuly Tynys actively contributed to the project and demonstrated excellent results.
For a humanities-focused initiative, the effective use of IT technologies to develop a multifunctional product is a significant achievement. This project serves as a model for interdisciplinary collaboration by merging historical science with modern digital tools.
The "Virtual Paleolithic" project aims to teach ancient history through immersive visual tools, using contemporary software solutions to deliver historical knowledge in a new and engaging format. This approach makes the learning process both accessible and captivating.
The project supervisor and student participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the university administration and the Center for Technology Commercialization and Creative Industries for organizing the competition. They also stated their intent to continue improving and expanding the project in the future.
