On April 12 – Science Day, leading scientists of Kazakhstan were honored with state awards. Among them, by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Dr. Nurzhamal Aldabek, Professor of the Department of Chinese Studies, was awarded the Order of “Parasat” for her outstanding contribution to science.

The prestigious award was presented personally by the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Sayasat Nurbek, who emphasized the professor’s significant contribution to the development of oriental studies, Chinese studies, and the training of young scholars in Kazakhstan.

The faculty and staff of the Department of Chinese Studies and the Faculty of Oriental Studies sincerely congratulate Professor Nurzhamal Abdirazakhkyzy on this high honor, and express their deep gratitude for her years of dedicated scientific service.
