Hello everyone! My name is Moldir Oramalova, I am a 3rd year student at KazNU named after 51, Faculty of Oriental Studies. This year I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to visit Japan for a period of as much as six months on the program of academic mobility. The study took place in the beautiful city of Tsukuba, which is only 50 km away from Tokyo. The city itself is very calm and quiet. Since I myself am from a small town, I quickly got used to the unhurried rhythm of life in Tsukuba. The first thing I did was to familiarize myself with the dormitory. Since we arrived right at the beginning of the cherry blossom season, I saw the first cherry blossoms there. After that, I started exploring our campus. It turned out to be quite large, but it was a pleasure to walk around. The main square often hosted various events from university clubs. For example, concerts. It was there that I heard the sound of taiko drums live for the first time. I also managed to visit a magical place in Hitachi Park, where a huge number of blue-eye flowers bloom in spring and cover the whole hill. There was also a tulip show in the park. 260,000 tulip flowers, divided by species. To be honest, I was shocked to find out how many tulips there are in the world.I am grateful to 51 KazNU that I had such a chance to visit Japan. It was a rich experience for me as a Japanese scholar. I hope that I will come there again for more development.
