On February 12, 2025, the Department of Business Technology of the Higher School of Economics and Business organized an event for students of 1-3 courses with the participation of the senior operative officer of the Department of Internal Affairs of the UPN DP of Almaty, Police Lieutenant Colonel Kobeev Dauren Askarovich.

During the meeting, a law enforcement specialist spoke in detail about the prevention of illicit trafficking in psychoactive substances, its harm to young people and legal responsibility. The students received important information on drug control and crime prevention measures, and received answers to their questions.

The meeting is directly related to the objectives of SDG 3 on combating drug addiction, promoting a healthy lifestyle and ensuring the safety of society. The participants of the meeting, organized by the Department of Business Technology, noted the importance of such information events, urging students to become law-abiding citizens and not to be indifferent to pressing problems in society.
