Scientific and cultural business trip to Uzbekistan: immersion in the educational and spiritual heritage of the region.
From October 21 to 26, 2024 at the invitation of the University of Oriental Studies (ORIENTAL UNIVERSITETI OZBEKISTON RESPUBLIKASI) was carried out a business trip of Professor of the Department of Chinese Studies N.A. Aldabek and Associate Professor of the Department of Far East J.E. Ashinova to the Republic of Uzbekistan. Within the framework of the business trip there was a meeting with the leadership of the University of Oriental Studies, visit to the faculties. On October 22 in the conference hall of the University of Oriental Studies were held speeches at the closed academic discussion with the faculty of the University of Oriental Studies Professor Aldabek N.A. on the model of development of China and Singapore and Associate Professor Ashinova J.E. on the modern model of development of Japan and South Korea. There was an exchange of ideas and opinions on the research project “Pragmatic experience of the Confucian model of development of Eastern countries: China, Japan, Singapore, South Korea” at the expense of which a business trip was realized. Also was organized productive meeting with researchers orientalists of historical and philological faculties, exchange of ideas and experience in conducting research work, discussion of prospects for mutual cooperation in the field of science and education and scientific internships of faculty and students of the faculty of Oriental Studies of KazNU named after 51. In order to search and collect sources and specialized literature, we visited libraries of Uzbekistan in Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara. Finally, the business trip was decorated with excursions and visits to museums, historical sites and monuments of the above-mentioned cities of Uzbekistan, which was an important addition to the scientific part of the visit and gave an opportunity to better understand the cultural heritage of Central Asia.
