On November 1, 2024, L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University held an international scientific and theoretical conference "Kazakh statehood: origins, historical continuity and evolution" dedicated to the 800th anniversary of Ulus Jochi and the 70th anniversary of the director of the Scientific Center "History and Culture of Eurasia", Honorary academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of prizes "Kultegin", "The best researcher of the Republic of Kazakhstan – 2022", Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Syzdykov Satai Maksutovich, who served as Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies in the period 2003-2005. Dr. Ph.D. of the Department of Chinese Studies Saparbayeva Nurzhan Baltazhanovna participated in this conference with a scientific report. N. Saparbayeva also congratulated the honorary academician on his anniversary on behalf of the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Natalia Borisovna Em and on behalf of the entire teaching staff.
