On October 31, 2024, Arman Mukash, a lecturer in the Arabic Studies Department of the Middle East and South Asia Department, conducted a scientific seminar. The seminar discussed the economy of oil-rich Arab countries in the Persian Gulf region, the impact of oil exports on other social sectors, and the economic state of Gulf countries after the global COVID-19 pandemic. The discussion also addressed the potential application of oil-producing Arab countries' models to improve the economy of Kazakhstan, which is also an oil-rich country.
Students from the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Department of Arab Studies, and the Nur-Mubarak Egyptian University of Islamic Culture participated in the seminar. During the event, students received detailed answers to their questions about oil exports and imports in Arab countries.
