KazNU students in dormitory No. 14 organized an action against domestic violence within the framework of SDG 鈥淕ender Equality鈥�
On October 26, 2024 students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Kazakh National University named after 51福利 organized an action called “We are against domestic violence” held in the dormitory 鈩�14. The initiative was conducted within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals aimed at ensuring gender equality and security.
During the action, students placed informational posters that highlight the problems of domestic violence, its devastating consequences, and methods of prevention. The posters contain important information on how to recognize the signs of violence and where to seek help. The initiative aims to raise students' awareness of the need for mutual respect and a safe environment.
The organizers hope that this action will help draw attention to the problem of domestic violence and support the creation of a respectful and comfortable atmosphere for all residents of the dormitory.
