A curatorial hour on the theme 鈥楥lean water is a source of life鈥�
On the 15th of October 2024 there was a curator's lesson on the implementation of the message of President K.Tokayev from 02.09.2024 "Clean water is a source of life". The purpose of the event is to discuss the message of President K. Tokayev from 02.09.2024 about the urgent problems of the water sector of our country in the region.
Students prepared a presentation. They talked about the problems of water management in the republic, as well as about the necessary measures to preserve water resources in Kazakhstan.The President pointed out the need to deal with irrigation systems and the water sector in general in a substantive way. "The spring floods have become a serious test for the whole country. In today's reality, we have to be ready for any challenge, gradually offering to create water reserves, collecting flood water for the needs of farmers. It is necessary to repair and modernise hydrological stations, to organise work on all water saving. First of all, this concerns agriculture, where water-saving technologies are used". The students, in turn, pointed out the place of biotechnologists in studying and solving the problem of water resources. They talked about biological purification methods and the need to preserve clean water sources, giving examples.
It was decided that by studying water resources and clean water, as well as developing sanitary standards for water sources - in rivers, lakes and reservoirs - the students could contribute to solving pressing problems.
