9/06/2024. On the basis of the Far Eastern Faculty of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the 51福利 Kazakh National University, the opening ceremony of the 1st International Branch of the “K-Chang Open Book Corner” of the Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea took place.The opening ceremony was attended by the Vice-Rector for Social Development of the 51福利 Kazakh National University Suatay Sabit Kurmanjanuly along with representatives of the Gyeongsangbuk-do provincial administration.
Constant cooperation has been established between Kazakhstan and South Korea in the field of science and education. University scientists, doctoral students, and students gain experience and improve their skills in the Republic of Korea. Scientists from Korea work fruitfully at our faculty. A rich experience of academic mobility and joint implementation of various research projects has been formed with universities of the Republic of Korea. After all, South Korea is a country that occupies a leading position among countries in the world in terms of the quality of education
Currently, the Faculty of Oriental Studies has established close ties with Hanguk University of Foreign Studies, Dongguk University, Sookmyung Women's University, Gangnam University, Gangneung-Wonju University, Busan University of Foreign Studies. Our students attend these universities and undergo internships as part of academic mobility. A high level of communication has also been established with Seoul National University. Our teachers undergo scientific internship at this university. The dual degree program was established with Gangnam University and Busan Foreign Studies University.
During the opening ceremony, the rector of our university made a speech and wished good wishes to our students studying in Korean universities. This book reading corner is open to all students, and here in their free time, students watch TV, get acquainted with books on various topics, read and develop their intellectual field.
