On February 28, the international anti-nuclear movement "Nevada-Semey" celebrated its 35th anniversary at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by famous scientists, public figures of the country, as well as young people. The Semipalatinsk test site became the world's first nuclear test site, the reason for the closure of which was the Nevada-Semey movement, created on February 28, 1989 at the initiative of the great man, poet, public figure Olzhas Omarovich Suleimenov.. The event was attended by Sergazy Kudaibergenov, a lecturer at the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies, and a curatorial group of 4th year students of the specialty "6B03102-cultural studies".
