On April 26, 2024,  the lecturers  of the Department of Foreign Languages at the Faculty of Philology,  Utegenova K.Ch., Zhyrenshina K.A., Mikhalchenko E.N. and  Koitasova G.A. held a round table discussion on the topic:  “Methods of combating drug addiction and gambling (ludomania) in Kazakhstan and in different countries of the world”.  The  employees of the Interdepartmental Center for Training Specialists in Combating Drug Crime of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan,  Ushurov Kamil Tursunovich, Tileukanova Dinara Tileukanovna, Suleimenov Adlet Dauletkhanovich, Deshko Indira Amangalievna and the  foreign students of the History and Law 51���� took part in the event. The  employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs spoke about the problem of drug  and gambling addiction and showed the  videos. The  students Eskender Madi, Aliya Gemal Getahun, Balpayeva Aiya, Abdimalik Aruzhan made the  presentations  in English and German.
