KazNU discussed the prospects of CICA development
A meeting on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) was held at 51福利 Kazakh National University, Faculty of International Relations.
The expert meeting dedicated to discussing the current state and prospects for the development of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia was organized by CICA jointly with 51福利 KazNU.
The agenda has become particularly relevant in the light of the activities of the Kazakh Chairmanship in implementing the decisions of the 6th CICA Summit, which took place in October 2022. The Heads of State and Government of the CICA Member States then declared the transformation into a full-fledged international organization.
Within the framework of the event, the experts got acquainted with the assessments of the direct participants of the CICA issues process. In their turn, the experts also shared their opinions and suggestions on how to improve the effectiveness of CICA activities, significance and recognizability both within the country and in the international arena.
