
On October 23, 2023, at the Faculty of Philology of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the 3d year students of group 304 majoring in “Kazakh Language and Literature” hosted the festive event on the topic: “My Motherland Kazakhstan!”, dedicated to The Day of Republic, the national holiday. The event was held as a literary-educational demolesson.
The event was aimed at introducing the students to the history of Republic Day national holiday, instilling respect for national symbols and patriotism and promoting our national values among young generation.
The advisor of group 304, Candidate of Philology, Professor, Bolatan Sarbasov opened having addressed to the students. He said: “Being a country, creating a state is the national dream of our ancestors, which has been realized since the times of the Turks. Being a country is an open road to the future. It is clear that if we teach the younger generation to respect our spiritual values and national customs and traditions we will be able to build a prosperous country” .
“If we want to become a state, if we want that our state will exist for many years, then we should understand the origins of the spirituality of our people,” as our ancestors said, this is an important issue for today’s younger generation”.
“We believe that the influence of our national holidays and national values on the successful development of independent Kazakhstan, the preservation of the unity of the Kazakh nation and the future “Eternal Country” has an enormous impact”.
During the event, the students recited the poems devoted to the Day of Republic from a literary collection of the works written by Kazakh poets. The creative students sang national songs and played national melodies. Nurmukhanova Torgyn recited “Motherland” poem by F. Ongarsynova, Tleulenova Anel read “You are a Kazakh” poem by K. Akhmetova , Bogenbai Alma recited Independence” poem by K. Sarin and etc. On that day many poems were recited Zhumageldi Toktarbek performed “Konil Tovaly” song by S. Tusrysbek in a very beautiful and touching way. At the end of the event the students sang “I am a Kazakh” song by Kuandyk Rakym.
Congratulations to all Kazakhstan citizens on the Day of Republic! Let the unity of independent Kazakhstan grow! Long live our independence! May our country be safe and our people peaceful!
