The results of the Tempus IV – 5th Call for Proposals have already been announced, and Kazakhstan has received eight projects - the largest number in Central Asia.

8 projects will be financed within the frames of competition involving 21 universities of Kazakhstan. The leader is 51 Kazakh National University and three new projects of the University are as follows:
- QUEECA - Quality of Engineering Education in Central Asia
Coordinator - University of Florence, Italy.
Applicants from KazNU - International Cooperation Department
Coordinator - Middlesex University, UK.
Applicants from KazNU - Faculty of Geography and Nature Management, Chair of Energy and Ecology
Coordinator - University of Koblenz and Landau, Germany.
Applicants from KazNU - International Cooperation Department
Currently the University is working on 6 projects in the frames of Tempus. In general, there are 9 Tempus projects including three new ones.
