�� �� On February 17, an international essay contest entitled "My Life Credo" was held among students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Department of Chinese Studies and the N.P. Ogorev Mordovian Research University. At the competition, students were able to express their thoughts freely in Chinese and show that they mastered the Chinese language very well. The students freely and competently answered various questions posed by the jury members. Two rounds of the competition were held. The first round was held at the faculties of two universities.�� The students of the Department of English Philology were taught the Chinese language, culture and history of China by Associate Professor of the Department of Chinese Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies N.B. Saparbayeva and Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages N.V. Burenina expressed great gratitude to the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the teacher for fruitful cooperation. The deans of the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Faculty of Foreign Languages hope to increase such international competitions in the future. Scientific and cultural ties between the two universities have a fruitful impact on the development of our universities.
