     On February 7, 2023, at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Kazakh National University, teachers of the Japanese department organized a special concert program to introduce the folk art of the Kazakh people to students of Sofia University and Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. Our students presented their performances to the Japanese students. A 1st year student of Oriental Studies, Mundabekova Ayala, not only showed the Kazakh dance, but also taught Japanese students to dance national dance "Kara Zhorga". A 1st year student of the specialty Oriental Studies, Sagimbekov Aben, presented the kyui "Ata tolgauy" and "Balbyrauyn" Kurmangazy. The 2nd year students of the Oriental Studies specialty sang “Kozimnin karasy” by Abai in Japanese and Kazakh languages. During the month spent at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Japanese students are planning to learn the national Kazakh dance "Kara Zhorga".
