On January 13, 2023, the Faculty of Oriental Studies held an online conference with graduates of general education schools and gymnasiums of the Republic of Kazakhstan to conduct professional guidance work.Before the meeting, goals and tasks were made such as to provide detailed information on the Department of Oriental Studies, to provide information on educational programs such as "Oriental Studies", "Translation", "Foreign Linguistics", and "Area Studies", and to provide domestic and foreign employment possibilities for students of the Department of Oriental Studies  information, to provide information on the possibilities for students to study abroad under the 51���� KazNU Academic Mobility Programme. During the conference, the head of the Department of Chinese Studies, Kerimbaev Yerzhan spoke extensively about the geopolitical aspect of the world today, the importance of training specialists in oriental studies, especially Chinese studies for our country. Students were very interested.  It can also be learned from the various questions asked at the end.  There is reason to say that the general conference was very fruitful.
