An exhibition of Arabic-Persian script calligraphy was held

From December 9 to 14, the Department of Middle East and South Asia held an exhibition of author's works on Arabic-Persian calligraphy by the famous Kazakh calligrapher Orynbasarov Asylbek Bayuzakuly, organized by the Department of Iranian Studies and the Cultural Representation under the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty. The exhibition was visited by students and teachers, as well as guests of the faculty, in particular, guests from the United Arab Emirates. Students of Nur-Mubarak University of Islamic Culture of Egypt came specially to see the exhibition.
