On November 22, 2022, the directors of the Confucius Institute at L. N. Gumilev Eurasian National University in Astana, Mr. Yang Lei and Mrs. Saule Erdenovyna Koshanova, paid a special visit to the Faculty of Oriental Studies. 

The guests were welcomed by Saltanat Toleukovyna, deputy dean of the faculty for scientific and innovative work and international relations, and Yerzhan Abdirayimuly, head of the Department of Chinese Studies.  Guests from Astana got acquainted with the history and current developments of the faculty. In order to be able to exchange more experiences in the future, they discussed ways to cooperate in organizing more joint events and taking bilateral cooperation to a new level.
