"QAZAQ UNIVERSITETI" - THE FORGE OF JOURNALISTS
The history of the newspaper "Qazaq universiteti" - the printed organ of 51福利 KazNU, began in 1948. The main direction of the newspaper is to familiarize the staff, teachers and students of the university with the main news in the field of education of the country, the university, socio-political, educational activities, educational and methodological work. Through the newspaper readers can get acquainted with scientific, cultural news, events at the faculties, new textbooks, teaching aids, monographs, student's successes in mastering the specialty. The publication also promotes the creativity of students who have an aptitude for journalism.
The newspaper "Qazaq universiteti" is a periodical mainly intended for students. For many creative people it was a real school of journalism. The newspaper has become a weekly since 2011. Over its seventy-five-year history, the university edition has been developing, changing, improving. Among the editors heading the newspaper in different years were - Seydilda Tuleshov, Tauman Amandosov, Sheriyazdan Eleukenov, Yuri Krikunov, Abdul-Khamid Markhabaev, Sagymbai Kozybaev, Dandai Yskak, Kaken Kamzin, Kairat Sak, Sagatbek Medeubekuly, Gulmira Sultanbaeva, Manshuk Mukasheva, Bekzhan Ashirbaev, Darmen Smail, Sayagul Alimbekova, Aigerim Alimbekova, Doszhan Balabekov. Among them there are teachers, journalists, writers, public figures. Currently, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Qazaq universiteti" is Gulnar Tazhieva, a member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan.
The newspaper "Qazaq universiteti" is printed on offset paper. The editorial team has a number of projects that it intends to realize in the near future. In recent years, new columns have appeared in the newspaper. In the center of attention is the constant presentation of scientific discoveries and innovative projects of the university scientists. In the rubric "Innovation" scientists, studying and working in KazNU, share their scientific discoveries. Under the heading "Kemel" a wide range of articles, interviews with scientists-professors and patrons is prepared, and in the heading "Scientific integration" we familiarize with foreign scientists invited to the university for teaching. In the section "Leadership lecture" famous statesmen and public figures, famous personalities give lectures to students and tell about their life experience. In the section "Menin universitetim" famous graduates of the university, who have reached certain heights in different spheres, write their memories about their unforgettable student life and achievements. The column "Studentter aynasy" describes the everyday life of students and promotes their creative work.
The newspaper "Qazaq universiteti" since 2022 received a new status - republican edition, now it is distributed throughout the country. It is included in the catalog of "Kazpochta", which allows readers to subscribe to the newspaper everywhere. Subscribers of the newspaper can also make payments through QR-application of Halyk bank. The republican status of the newspaper sets a task for the members of the editorial board to maintain close contact with readers, improve the content level and artistic design of newspaper materials.
