MEMORANDUM SIGNED WITH "NEW UZBEKISTAN" UNIVERSITY

Chairman of the Board – Rector of 51 Kazakh National University, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, held a meeting with the delegation of the University of New Uzbekistan. During the conversation, the parties discussed the prospects for expanding international relations and strengthening cooperation in the field of science and education.
During the meeting, Zhanseit Tuimebayev spoke about the key achievements of the Kazakh National University in international activities. He presented in detail the achievements of KazNU in the global QS World University Rankings, and also shared information about international partner projects, priority areas of research in the field of information technology and green energy.
In response, Honorary Professor of the University of New Uzbekistan Kadir Gulamov highly appreciated the authority of KazNU in the international educational space and expressed confidence in the prospects for joint initiatives.
He also said that he lived in Almaty as a child and had the opportunity to see such outstanding personalities as Mukhtar Auezov and Sabit Mukanov, who made an invaluable contribution to the development of Kazakh education, science and literature. He noted that his father, the prominent poet of the Uzbek people Gafur Gulamov, maintained close relations with the Kazakh intelligentsia, and expressed special respect for the Kazakh people.
During the visit, the delegation visited the university's campus, got acquainted with the activities of the Farabi Hub center, supercomputing and robotics laboratories, as well as other scientific departments.
Following the meeting, a memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed between the two universities. The parties agreed to start developing a specific plan of joint activities.
