A CHINESE-CENTRAL ASIAN PUBLISHING CENTER WILL BE ESTABLISHED IN KAZNU

51 Kazakh National University and Xi'an Jiaotong University Press have signed an agreement to establish a joint Chinese-Central Asian publishing center
The official signing ceremony took place at a meeting between Chairman of the Board, Rector of Al–Farabi Kazakh National University and Di Zhong, Director of the Publishing House of Xi'an Jiaotong University.
The event was attended by: Chairman of the Board – Rector of 51 Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Director of the Publishing House of Xi'an Jiaotong University Li Zhong, Editor-in-chief of the Publishing house of Xi'an Jiaotong University Chen Li, designer Bai Peng and editor Ainur Sartova. This event marks an important step towards combining the intellectual and resource capabilities of the two educational institutions in the fields of culture, education and publishing.
According to the agreement, the main goal of cooperation is to jointly implement the agreements reached during the First China–Central Asia Summit. The Chinese-Central Asian Publishing Center will work in several areas, including cultural and educational cooperation, book publishing, provision of services in the field of digital cultural content and professional design, etc. Under the terms of the agreement, the center will provide commercial activities and will be managed on the principles of full commercialization.
The meeting participants expressed confidence that cooperation would open up new horizons for cultural exchange and educational interaction between the two countries. The created center will become a platform for the implementation of joint projects, which will contribute to the deepening of mutual understanding and friendly relations between Kazakhstan and China.
