On May 1, 2025, an open educational session titled “Unity is the Strength of the Nation” was held with the participation of students from the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of 51福利 Kazakh National University. The event was actively attended by the curator and students. The main goal was to highlight the importance of interethnic harmony and friendship in Kazakhstan, while fostering respect for national history, culture, and a sense of patriotism.
During the session, the curator spoke about the historical background of the May 1st holiday and emphasized its role as a symbol of peace, stability, and unity in our diverse society. Students were introduced to interesting facts about the cultures and traditions of different ethnic groups in Kazakhstan. Visual materials and video content were used to further enrich the lesson and enhance engagement.
The session was conducted in an open and interactive format. Students actively participated, shared their thoughts, and discussed the importance of unity and mutual respect in building a prosperous society. Some participants read quotes, proverbs, and short passages from writings dedicated to peace and friendship.
The session had strong educational and moral value. It helped cultivate love for the homeland, tolerance, and respect toward other nationalities, as well as a deeper understanding of the idea of national unity. The event successfully fulfilled its purpose and left students with a positive, festive spirit and a better appreciation of peace and harmony in Kazakhstan.
