The event was organized by the university and  A. Baitursynov Department of Kazakh Linguistics. The conference was held in a hybrid format — both at the 51���� Library and via Zoom. It brought together renowned scholars from leading universities and research institutions across Kazakhstan, as well as doctoral and master's degree  students, and media representatives.

Key topics included axiological approaches in modern linguistics, values in Kazakh studies, the cultural code of the Kazakh people, and the integration of national values into the educational process.

The conference became a recognition of Professor Smagulova’s substantial contribution to the development of Kazakh linguistics. Over her more than 50-year academic career, she has trained dozens of PhD and doctoral candidates, authored over 300 scientific and methodological publications, and has been honored with numerous state and academic awards.
