The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan – a Symbol of Harmony and Kindness

On April 30, 2025, a festive event titled "The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan – a Symbol of Harmony and Kindness" was held at a high level to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by a distinguished guest, Rizvan Salauadinuly Suleimenov, as well as students from various faculties who actively engaged in discussions, asked questions, and shared their opinions. Students from the faculties of History, Philology, and Journalism of our university took part in the celebration with great enthusiasm.
The purpose of the event was to honor the significant role of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in strengthening peace and unity in society, and to instill the values of national harmony and cooperation in the younger generation.
During the event, students received comprehensive information about the history of the Assembly's formation and its efforts to promote interethnic harmony within the country. Students from each faculty showcased their creative talents by performing songs and poems that represented the cultural heritage of various ethnic groups, and by staging theatrical performances.
History faculty students presented special reports based on historical sources highlighting the stages of the Assembly's development. Students from the Philology faculty demonstrated their skills in literary performance, focusing on the literary heritage of different nations, while Journalism students contributed to the media coverage of the event, showcasing their professional abilities.
This festive gathering became not only an educational experience but also a true platform for friendship and mutual understanding. Students had the opportunity to connect with representatives of diverse cultures and were once again reminded that the greatest wealth of our multinational country is unity and harmony.
The event was attended by the Dean of the History Faculty, D.S. Baigunakov, Vice-Dean Zh.M. Terekbayeva, Head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, B.B.Karibayev, professor A.B.Kalsh and associate professors E.N. Noyanov and Zh.M. Arynov, who congratulated the participants and expressed their warm wishes. Professors F.A. Kozybakova and N.A. Tasilova from the Department of History of Kazakhstan also played an active role in organizing the event.
At the end of the event, letters of appreciation were presented to the participants, and a commemorative photo session dedicated to the Assembly’s anniversary was held. This day left a lasting impression in the hearts of the youth.
The 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, which upholds unity and solidarity as its core values, remains a significant historical milestone not only for our country but also for future generations.
