On April 24, in the reading room of the hostel #16, together with the 2nd year students of the bachelor's degree program "6B04103-Economics", we held a curatorial hour in memory of the legendary two heroines who gave their lives for their homeland - Aliya Moldagulova and Manshuk Mametova. This event, in addition to the revival of historical teachings, was also closely connected with important modern values.
During the curatorial hour, we analyzed the principles of Sustainable Development Goal 4 - "Quality Education" and Goal 5 - "Gender Equality" through the feat of heroic girls.
Aliya and Manshuk were educated and intelligent young people of their time, who sacrificed the most precious thing for themselves - their lives - for the sake of the country. Thanks to the education they received, they rose to the heights of consciousness and became real citizens who were not indifferent to the fate of their homeland. This clearly demonstrates the decisive role of quality education in shaping the personality of today's generation.
Moreover, their bravery is a vivid example of the great role of women in society. Gender equality is not just a legal concept, it is a reality that proves that women and men can make an equal contribution to the development of society. Aliya and Manshuk have become a great symbol of this equality.
The event strengthens patriotism, humanism, the desire for knowledge and a sense of responsibility for creating a just society in young people.
