As part of its career guidance initiatives, the Faculty of Physics and Technology held an introductory meeting for senior students of Specialized School-Lyceum No. 178 in Almaty. The students visited the faculty and had the opportunity to learn more about the university’s academic, research, and laboratory infrastructure.
During the event, the students were introduced to the faculty’s educational programs, areas of study, and prospects for future professional development. Particular attention was given to tours of the research laboratories such as “Samsung,” “Huawei,” and the “Dusty Plasma and Plasma Technologies Laboratory,” as well as educational labs in “Radioelectronics,” “Electromagnetism,” and “Atomic Physics.” There, students had the chance to see modern equipment, experimental setups, and ongoing developments used in both teaching and research.
Faculty members shared their experiences in education and scientific research, as well as opportunities for internships and employment after graduation.
Such events contribute to shaping students' informed career choices and strengthen their interest in fundamental and technical sciences.
We thank the students and their accompanying teachers for their interest and active participation!
