On April 24, 2025, a meeting was held at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences of the 51福利 Kazakh National University between the Head of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism Ruslan Bayburiev and a delegation from Termez State University of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The delegation was represented by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Geography Nazar Esanov and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Ecology and Soil Science Asadulla Mukhammadiev.
During the meeting, the Head of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism Ruslan Bayburiev introduced the guests to the activities of the department in detail, spoke about the scientific potential and material and technical base of the department. They also discussed the prospects for the development of academic and scientific cooperation between universities, including the exchange of students and teachers, as well as summer schools and practices in the field of tourism and recreational geography.
At the end of the meeting, the delegation expressed gratitude for the desire for fruitful interaction. Both sides confirmed their readiness for long-term cooperation based on mutual respect and the desire to develop the scientific potential of universities.
