The "Disturbing Suitcase": contribution to sustainable development and security
Congratulations to Alina Shaimerden, a 2nd–year student of the UNESCO Department of Sustainable Development educational program "6B11201 - Life Safety and Environmental Protection", on taking the third place in the university competition "Best Innovative Project", held as part of the student business incubator. Her project called "The Disturbing Suitcase" has become a significant contribution to the development of sustainable security ideas. The project manager was Maral Maulenovna Abdibattayeva, Doctor of Technical Sciences.
Modern society faces numerous natural and man-made threats. In response to these challenges, the Alarm Suitcase project offers a compact and functional solution to ensure basic safety in emergency situations. The project corresponds to the 11th UN Sustainable Development Goal: "Ensuring the openness, security, resilience and environmental sustainability of cities and human settlements."
As Winston Churchill said: "You have to pay for safety, and you have to disburse for its absence." By purchasing the disturbing suitcase, we are making contribut to our own protection and preservation of life.
