Gulnaz Sarsenbay, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of International Relations, Department of Diplomatic Translation, majoring in “Translation in the Field of International Relations and Law,” was awarded first place at the student research conference “Farabi Alemi.”
Her research paper, titled “Problems of Translation of Kazakh Realias in the Context of the World Nomad Games,” was highly appreciated by the jury for its relevance and depth of content (research supervisor: Zhumaliyeva Zh.K.).
The article is dedicated to an important analysis of the structural features of cultural terms. The aim of the study is to explore the challenges and methodologies involved in translating Kazakh realias, particularly in the context of the World Nomad Games.
