On April 22, 2025, the Department of Far Eastern Studies at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, 51���� Kazakh National University, held an open educational session as part of the Sustainable Development Goal "Quality Education." The event was dedicated to the topic: "Eastern Wisdom and Modern Korea: Confucian Teachings in the 21st Century." The session was conducted for 2nd-year students majoring in Oriental Studies. During the event, the fundamental principles of Confucianism and its influence on contemporary South Korean society were discussed. An interactive discussion, Q&A session, and a thematic presentation were held with the students. The aim of the session was to explain the relevance of Eastern philosophy in the modern era and to broaden the students’ cultural and intellectual horizons.
