Meeting of Turkish Studies and History of Eastern Countries Department`s Students with a Lecturer from Vilnius University under the Erasmus+ Program
On April 22, 2025, the students of the Department of Turkish Studies and History of Eastern Countries of the Faculty of Oriental Studies met with a guest lecturer — Dr. Natela Statkien臈, a researcher at the Institute of Asian and Transcultural Studies at Vilnius University (Lithuania), as part of the Erasmus+ international academic program.
The purpose of Dr. Statkien臈’s visit was to get acquainted with the academic process of the department, attend classes conducted by local instructors, and share her experience in teaching the Turkish language. During the meeting, Natela Statkien臈 presented the methods and approaches used in teaching Turkish as a foreign language at Vilnius University and discussed the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Head of the Department for Scientific and Innovation Activities, Associate Professor E. Dulayeva, the Deputy Head for Academic Affairs A. Khalel, as well as faculty members of the department. The participants actively discussed important topics related to academic mobility and the development of international cooperation.
