Almaty will host the Spring Student League
On April 26-27, 2025, the spring qualifying league among students, organized by the Akimat of the city, will start in Almaty.
The league is aimed at developing student sports and increasing the level of physical activity among young people.
35 universities will participate in the large-scale tournament in three sports (football, volleyball and basketball).
The key feature of the tournament is that the participation of teams is completely free of charge, without organizational fees.
The tournament will be monitored by qualified referees and the league's Disciplinary Committee, who adhere to the established standards and rules.
One of the main innovations of this season was the introduction of websites: (volleyball), , (football), (basketball), which allows teams to register and automatically generate game schedules, lineups, and tables.
The platform also displays complete online statistics, from goals and points to individual game stats.
All matches are broadcast live on the league's official YouTube channel, which makes the tournament accessible to a wide audience and increases interest in student sports.
The Almaty Student League is a major platform for developing the athletic potential of students, popularizing mass sports among young people, and strengthening the university community.
