A roundtable discussion on “Cultural Diversity in a Multiethnic Society – the Foundation of Unity and Harmony” was held at 51���� Kazakh National University with the participation of representatives from the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and students from the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management.

The event was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the Day of Gratitude.
The roundtable was opened by Turdybubi Masymzhanqyzy Kazhybayeva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, who emphasized the significance of the event.

During the meeting:

• Marat Aivarovich Khozhaev, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism, delivered a report on national unity as the foundation of cultural development and the formation of the country's cultural image;

• Olga Alexandrovna Zubova, Senior Lecturer at the UNESCO Department for Sustainable Development, spoke about the development of interethnic relations among students, using her department as an example;

• Lyudmila Nabokova, Chair of the Almaty German Cultural and Ethnic Society “Revival” (Vozrozhdenie), shared her experience in strengthening cooperation between representatives of different cultures. In her concluding remarks, she expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation on behalf of all Germans living in Almaty and the region to the Kazakh land and people for their kindness and generosity, for the support during difficult times, and for the centuries-long friendship.

In conclusion, Turdybubi Kazhybayeva thanked all attendees for their participation and emphasized that the roundtable served as an open platform for dialogue on preserving cultural heritage and strengthening friendship, unity, and interethnic harmony. She wished everyone peace, kindness, and well-being.
