          On April 18, 2025, Karabaeva Yenlik, the  first-year Master’s degree  student of  Translation Studies major, conducted a curatorial hour on the topic: “Friendship and Unity of Nations”   for the  second-year students of  Foreign Philology (Western Languages) major  as a  part of her pedagogical practice. The event was also attended by Senior Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies, Tairova G.A.

          The curatorial hour began with an introductory speech by Karabaeva Yenlik, who emphasized the relevance of the topic in today’s world, where globalization and migration processes highlight the need for intercultural understanding. Special attention was given to the importance of unity among nations in maintaining peace, stability, and sustainable societal development. It was noted that unity among nations helps resolve conflicts and fosters a harmonious global environment.

         During the interactive segment of the event,  the students participated in an engaging game where each represented a specific country. Participants shared insights about the values, traditions, and cultural characteristics of countries such as Italy, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Kazakhstan, and others. This game allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of each culture’s uniqueness and reinforced the importance of respecting differences.

          The event concluded with an open microphone session, where participants could propose their ideas for strengthening unity among nations. Students expressed enthusiasm for organizing future joint activities with international students at the university, such as national cuisine festivals and traditional music evenings. The curatorial hour took place in a warm and inspiring atmosphere, fostering stronger connections among participants.
