The Good Tradition of Greening the Faculty Territory Continues

17 april, 2025

Greening the faculty territory has long become a good tradition that unites students, teachers, and staff in the common goal of making our campus more comfortable, eco-friendly, and beautiful. Today, we proudly continue this initiative, contributing to sustainable development and caring for the future of our planet.

Thanks to joint efforts, young saplings were planted, flower beds were arranged, and green areas at the faculty entrance were renewed. These activities not only beautify the space but also help improve the microclimate, reduce air pollution, and create a favorable environment for study and relaxation.

Most importantly, such initiatives directly support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) proposed by the United Nations:

  • SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities – Greening helps create safer, more accessible, and resilient urban spaces.

  • SDG 13: Climate Action – Planting trees contributes to reducing carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere.

  • SDG 15: Life on Land – Establishing green zones promotes biodiversity and protects soil.

  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – The campaign is an example of cooperation among students, teachers, and administrative staff.

Greening is not just about landscaping – it is a reflection of our responsibility to future generations. We thank everyone who took part in this campaign and invite all who are interested to join the upcoming stages! After all, every tree planted is a step toward a greener future.
